I still play occasionally with my friends in the band Patchwork Yak, based in Calgary,  AB.  The Yaks are a roots band playing mostly original music written by me and Suzi Martin. Erik Smistad (bass, guitar, piano, vocals) and Suzi (banjo, guitar, ukulele, drums, vocals) provide rhythm and drive to the Yak sounds.  The Yaks released an EP, Heard Immunity, in September 2022.
