Roar Victoria Roar
Written for a songwriting competition with the theme of celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Victoria Cougars' victory over the Montreal Canadiens in the 1925 Stanley Cup. The "House of Patrick" refers to the 4,000 seat Patrick Arena, the site of the home games in Victoria during the series. The specifics of the celebration and chanting are imagined - call it "historical fiction" if you will.
Performed by Murray Fitch (guitar, lead vocals), Paul Moquin (guitar), Mark Johnson (bass), Joshua Miszczak

Performed by Murray Fitch & Friends: Murray Fitch (guitar, vocals), “Dr. Phil” Newton (keys), Eric James (bass), Chris Meglic (drums).

Another Day In Qualicum - The video itself is a bit meta -you can me me on video, but also another phone recording me simultaneously. watch a video of someone catching me on video. Written during herring run season in Qualicum Beach, watching the fishing boats, eagles, and gulls on the move, and looking out across the water to the islands, in Lasqueti Island, which is mentioned.
Performed by Murray Fitch & Friends: Murray Fitch (guitar, vocals), “Dr. Phil” Newton (keys), Eric James (bass), Chris Meglic (drums).
