Murray Fitch
Singer-Songwriter (Folk / Folk Rock)
Bio
Murray Fitch is a singer-songwriter from Victoria BC with the motto "no dumb lyrics". Moving or angry or love-struck or political or humane or bizarre or silly perhaps, but not dumb. His second motto is "no boring shows", and those songs are played loud or quiet or fast or slow on guitar or banjo or ukulele or piano. And if he's got sidekicks along, you can expect more horsepower - bass/drums/fiddle/piano, depending on the circumstances. You don't need ADHD to enjoy his shows, but if you're looking for a guy quietly strumming a guitar for an hour, look elsewhere. When he can, Murray performs with the band Patchwork Yak, which he recently abandoned in Calgary to move to Vancouver Island, Murray was a multiple finalist in songwriting competitions in the Calgary area, and in September 2022 released an EP with Patchwork Yak called "Heard Immunity".
